Canceling a Lesson
I don't charge for a missed lesson, but I do appreciate some advanced notice if you need to cancel a lesson. I am very flexible because I understand that life happens, things come up, it is summer and people go on vacation, and I am willing to work around those things if you need to cancel a lesson. I will do my best to reschedule that lesson for you. I do ask that you are flexible with me as well, I will try to give as advanced notice as possible when I need to cancel a lesson, but sometimes things come up for me too, and I appreciate your understanding in those situations.
I do have a vacation planned for July 1 through the 10, so there won't be any lessons that week. That is the only vacation I know about right now, but I will certainly post an update as soon as possible if something else comes up.
Liability Waivers
I have taught lots and lots of lessons and I have never had anything bad happen. I am very careful, I keep the class sizes very small, I have had lifeguard and CPR training, and I work hard to teach children water safety. However, for my own protection, and especially for the protection of the Woods Apartments, I do need parents to sign a release of liability form before I can work with your child. And of course you are always more than welcome, to stay and watch your child to make sure that you feel safe and comfortable with the situation.
